Friday.... thank goodness.

After what was quite possibly the longest week of my college career thus far, I am so happy it is finally the weekend.

I was planning to head to bed early tonight (clearly that didn't happen), but a lot of great things did.

I'm constantly reminded that the Lord has me here for a purpose- He has really made that evident over the last few days. So grateful for that, as it was the reassurance I was needing.... then again, when is His timing not impeccable?

I love knowing that I'm making friends that will last a lifetime. Hopefully my husband has lots of friends.... because by the looks of it, I'm going to have lots of bridesmaids :)

(un)Productivity.

Exams. This one word is the downfall to the life of a college student.... let me expand.

1. Regardless of how great your schedule is all of your exams will fall within a two week period. Always. It never fails. Mark my words.

2. No matter how much you study beforehand, you will realize the day before the exam one large portion of material you somehow overlooked or forgot; therefore, you will end up cramming. It is inevitable.

3. Multiple choice.... YAY! No. Wrong Response. Multiple choice exams in college are a chance for professors to sit in their office and laugh as they create the exam because they put the trickiest little answers on there. All of the answers scream out to you during the exam and say, "Pick me! Pick me!" *note- I always pick the wrong one.

4. For the record, you know something went wrong when an exam was out of 150 and you have to wonder if the score posted is your percentage or your points out of 150.... *note- it was points out of 150... oops!

Here's to an Organic exam tomorrow, a Management exam Wednesday and a Biology exam Thursday!

Study study school is my buddy,
B.

The Beginning.

For the past few months I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog- everything about it is so exciting. Sharing your thoughts, pieces of your heart, stories, and just every day ramblings with others who do the same for you. I have my daily list of blogs that I check every morning before class- hoping they have updated. These blogs I follow inspire me, challenge me, encourage me, and make me excited for what my future holds.

I am nineteen years old and am a sophomore in college. You know, everyone says college is the best four years of your life..... I trust all of the people that told me that, so I just assume they have repressed the memories of how hard college truly is. As a Christ follower, it is hard to find your niche and decide what kind of woman you want to be. It is so easy to give in, fit in, blend in.... but I don't want to be that girl.

So, here it is. My blog. I'm a real girl dealing with real issues trying to serve a real God. One readers or one hundred, I'm excited to see where this journey will lead me.

Thank goodness it's Friday,

B.
